On August 21, 2007, the Swensons, who reside in Minnetonka, Minnesota, (a suburb of the Twin Cities), got a surprise when Ty Pennington pulled up in the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition bus in front of their home and told them they had been selected for this makeover. In fact, it was going to be the biggest home makeover in the history of the television series, which has been on the air since 2003.
The popular ABC Extreme Makeover: Home Edition television program, viewed by millions of people, has left a legacy of greatly improved and even entirely new homes for U.S. families who have experienced hardship.
One of the most wonderful things about the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition program is that the local communities become very involved with the process. Countless volunteers as well as considerable donations of materials and goods from outstanding and generous companies such as yourselves make these home makeovers truly remarkable and infused with community cooperation and community spirit.

Our Ashco Representative helped us with our hail damage repairs at our cabin on Big Sandy Lake. We had damage to our cabin, garage and boat house roof and also gutter replacement. From start to finish, our Representative was wonderful to deal with and explained everything that needed to be done, for how much and when. He went above and beyond when dealing with our insurance company, making it easier for us to get what we needed. He went out of his way traveling to the cabin and to our residence to meet with us. I appreciate all that he did to help us out and make this a very smooth process. Everything looks wonderful and would recommend Ashco Exteriors in the future.

In December 2005 I lost a lot of shingles off my roof, my insurance company said unless there is a certain per cent of them missing we will not pay. September 2006, I again lost a bunch, this time I fought to get my roof replaced. They fought back and I of course had to pay for my own new roof. To make it more interesting the insurance company sent me a letter saying since I had two claims in less than a year my name was being sent to the newly created Home Land Security Dept. I received no money for either claim and the first one they would not even come out, the second they came out only after we started the fight.
Now in September 2007, a couple months earlier we had a hail storm, I never gave it a thought because I know how my insurance works, a representative from Ashco showed up at my door step telling me his company has the knowledge to handle insurance claims and could get me my roof replaced, and repair my siding. My only cost he said would be my deductible, my wife and I laughed.
We're not laughing now at the smarty pants that was sure his company had the knowledge to know how to talk to insurance people to get them to do there job. We not only have a new roof (and there was no nails on the grass when they left) but we have new siding too (With lots of nails but to be fair, it was fall and the nails I found were mixed in with the leaves I raked up). Our Ashco representative assured me that the siding people would be talked to.
I think Ashco did a great job on my home. If I hit another storm and I pray I never do, but I will call Ashco this time and let them deal with the insurance, it was a lot less headaches for me and the job got done right.

I am writing to commend your team at Ashco Exteriors for the prompt and professional service we received in connection with our storm damage. During a severe hail storm this spring, our roof, gutters and downspouts sustained serious hail damage. A friend of the family referred us to Ashco Exteriors for an inspection.
Ashco Exteriors worked with our insurance company to obtain an inspection. The inspector arrived within days, and worked directly with Ashco to resolve our claim. Within a few weeks we had our full roof replacement, new gutters, and new downspouts. The entire team of painters, roofers and gutter installation servicers were efficient and professional. The process was seamless and did not interrupt our daily living. I appreciate such a high level of service and strongly recommend Ashco Exteriors for its promptness and attention to detail. The work quality was absolutely top-notch.

Gladstone Meadows is a small townhouse community in Maple Grove. The fall of 2008 we finally had our roofs replaced by Ashco Exteriors. We had been rejected 3 times already by the insurance company due to not enough hail damage. Our Ashco representative worked closely with the insurance adjuster making sure we got approved for everything possible. He certainly was an asset to the project. The roofs were shingled in a very timely fashion. The dumpsters were brought in, filled, and taken away. Everything was extremely organized and neat. No mess was left anywhere. Denny and I (townhouse association officers) have been thanked many times over by our townhouse owners for getting the roofs done. It would have been a BIG expense for all of us, if we had to pay for it ourselves. So, we in turn thank you at Ashco for all you have done getting our roofs approved and installed. We would highly recommend your company.

Finally getting around to letting you know how pleased / impressed Robin and I are with the whole process of getting it done. Compared with our previous experience with several contracters over the years at our current address.... this whole project was done as you would think it should be done ...from start to finish....from dealing with the insurance company to clean up after the work was done. It has been my privilege to work with Raymond Wolsefer for the past months concerning the replacement of my roof in Baton Rouge. Dear Ryan,
We just had the shingles on our house replaced by your company. The crew that was here was absolutely outstanding. They were hard workers and did an excellent job. They also cleaned up any debris on the grass, deck, patio, or sidewalk. They painted a rain diverter to match the shingles, that had never been painted.
